Here is an example designed with Edificius and inspired by the Cuboid House project<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The fa\u00e7ade is the external envelope and most visible part of a building, being outlined by perimeter walls.<\/p>\n<p>The fa\u00e7ade represents a building&#8217;s external appearance, therefore its design, materials choice and implementation are to be selected with particular attention. width=&#8221;600&#8243; height=&#8221;&#8221; autoplay=&#8221;false&#8221; api_params=&#8221;&#8221; hide_on_mobile=&#8221;small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility&#8221; class=&#8221;&#8221;][\/fusion_youtube]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s select the <strong>Sunshades<\/strong> object in the architectural menu and from the property toolbox choose the preferred model within the\u00a0<strong> General\u2013 BIM Objects Library<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We can proceed inserting the sunshades in\u00a0 <strong>3D View<\/strong> and use the grips to adapt them to the facade.<\/p>\n<p>Next, from the property toolbox we can access the sunshades editor to customize them.<\/p>\n<p>We then set up the slats&#8217; geometrical characteristics and, more specifically, their widht,\u00a0 thickness, spacing and opening angle.<\/p>\n<h3>Modelling a glass curtain wall with a BIM software<\/h3>\n<p>Let&#8217;s select the <strong>Curtain wall<\/strong> object\u00a0 and choose a model with square modules.<\/p>\n<p>[fusion_youtube id=&#8221;r4iAv4EKRF4&#8243; width=&#8221;600&#8243; height=&#8221;&#8221; autoplay=&#8221;false&#8221; api_params=&#8221;&#8221; hide_on_mobile=&#8221;small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility&#8221; class=&#8221;&#8221;][\/fusion_youtube]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We can model the balconies parapet\u00a0 of the facade using the\u00a0 <strong>Panel <\/strong>object.
