{"id":4002,"date":"2018-06-05T11:28:12","date_gmt":"2018-06-05T11:28:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/biblus.accasoftware.com\/en\/?p=4002"},"modified":"2024-07-30T16:50:33","modified_gmt":"2024-07-30T14:50:33","slug":"pas-1192-62018-health-and-safety-bim-standard-in-construction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biblus.accasoftware.com\/en\/pas-1192-62018-health-and-safety-bim-standard-in-construction\/","title":{"rendered":"PAS 1192-6:2018, health and safety BIM standard in construction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sommario\">British Standard has published the new technical standard BIM PAS 1192-6: 2018 flow of information regarding workers health and safety BIM standards on construction sites.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>PAS 1192-6:2018<\/strong>, recently released as a pre-standard, adds up the already full-scale list of key documents supporting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsigroup.com\/en-GB\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">British construction world using the <strong>BIM methodology<\/strong><\/a> and trying to achieve the so-called <em>\u201cLevel 2\u201d <\/em>BIM. This technical standard, regarding workers health and safety BIM standards, or to use its full name, \u201c<em>Specification for collaborative sharing and use of structured Health and Safety information using BIM<\/em>\u201d, consists of\u00a0 66 pages integrating H&amp;S information regarding workers on construction sites into models, processes and applications which are common to BIM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PAS 1192-6:2018<\/strong> specifies requirements for the collaborative sharing of structured information concerning workers&#8217; health and safety aspects throughout the project and asset life-cycles, while supporting each construction development phase from the beginning.<\/p>\n<p>The PAS provides guidance on how H&amp;S information is produced, flows and can be used throughout the building&#8217;s design, project management and asset lifecycle.<\/p>\n<p>Although all information on risks for workers&#8217; health and safety issues can be included in a single information model, PAS 1192-6 requires contextualisation and the possibility to selectively estimate risks, prioritize high risks, identify hazards and critical aspects concerning safety, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The BIM Level 2 suite of documents have been developed to help the Construction industry adopt BIM Level 2. These documents consist of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BS 1192:2007+A2:2016<\/li>\n<li>PAS 1192-2:2013<\/li>\n<li>PAS 1192-3:2014<\/li>\n<li>BS 1192-4:2014<\/li>\n<li>PAS 1192-5:2015<\/li>\n<li>PAS
