In this context, South America is emerging as a particularly dynamic region, hosting events that bring together professionals, companies, institutions, and organizations driving the digital transformation of the construction and infrastructure sectors.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2026, <strong>ACCA software<\/strong> will ake part in two key international events: the <strong>Congreso Internacional BIM Forum Chile 2026<\/strong>, taking place on September 1 in Santiago, Chile, and the <strong>Conferencia de Usuarios Esri 2026<\/strong>, scheduled for September 3\u20134 in Panama.<\/p>\n<p>Across both events, ACCA will highlight how openBIM\u00ae, CDE, GIS, and Digital Twin technologies can work together to create more connected, interoperable, and data-driven workflows<\/p>\n<h3>Congreso Internacional BIM Forum Chile 2026<\/h3>\n<p>The first event is the <strong>Congreso Internacional BIM Forum Chile 2026,<\/strong> organized by BIM Forum Chile and buildingSMART Chile, co-organized with the C\u00e1mara Chilena de la Construcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be held on <strong>September 1st, 2026<\/strong>, from <strong>8:30<\/strong> to <strong>18:00<\/strong>, at the <strong>C\u00e1mara Chilena de la Construcci\u00f3n<\/strong> in Santiago, Chile.<\/p>\n<p>The congress represents a moment for international discussion on the digital transformation processes of the construction sector and the technologies that are helping to make BIM workflows more efficient and interoperable.<\/p>\n<p>ACCA software will participate in the event as a <strong>Diamond Sponsor<\/strong>, with the presence of a booth (number 6), dedicated to meeting with professionals and showcasing the company\u2019s solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Particular emphasis will be placed on presentations dedicated to openBIM<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> and data management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At 12:40, in <strong>Block 4<\/strong>, ACCA will take part in the <strong>openBIM<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Lab<\/strong>, realized with the participation of buildingSMART International. The workshop will delve into the <strong>openBIM<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong> standards and <strong>ISO 19650<\/strong>, demonstrating how interoperability can transform from a technological requirement to a concrete element for improving collaboration among the different players in a project.<br \/>\nThe lab will also have a practical component, with a live demonstration of platforms for the validation and review of IFC models, offering participants a concrete example of how BIM data can be verified, shared, and used within truly interoperable processes.<\/li>\n<li>At 15:30, in <strong>Salon 5<\/strong>, ACCA software will again be at the forefront with a technical presentation titled \u201c<strong>openBIM<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> and data governance<\/strong>\u201d: effective data governance allows CDE and openBIM<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> to transform from mere work environments to true strategic assets, ensuring that information is accurate, accessible, up-to-date, and secure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Conferencia de Usuarios Esri 2026: from BIM and GIS to digital twins<\/h3>\n<p>After Chile, ACCA&#8217;s journey in South America continues in <strong>Panama<\/strong>, where the <strong>Esri User Conference 2026<\/strong> will take place on <strong>September 3rd<\/strong> and <strong>4th<\/strong> at the <strong>Marriott Panam\u00e1 Albrook Hotel<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe conference represents an important appointment dedicated to the world of GIS and the applications of geospatial technologies, with a focus on how territorial data can support analysis, planning, and management of infrastructures.<\/p>\n<p>In this case, ACCA software will participate in the event with a <strong>Standard Sponsorship<\/strong>, focusing on the integration between <strong>BIM<\/strong>, <strong>GIS<\/strong>, <strong>openBIM<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong> models, and <strong>point clouds<\/strong>, showing how these worlds can integrate to build increasingly complete georeferenced digital representations of the territory and the works.<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>September 3rd at 16:30<\/strong>, at the Convention Center of the Hotel, ACCA will present the talk: \u201c<em>How to use any common data environment (CDE) BIM such as ACCA, Autodesk, Bentley, and Trimble with GIS to create geospatial digital twins using OpenBIM\u00ae models and point clouds<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation will show how it is possible to connect any common BIM data environment \u2013 such as those offered by ACCA, Autodesk, Bentley, and Trimble \u2013 with GIS systems, using openBIM<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> models and point clouds.
