Indicated for a maximum of <strong>35-40 animals<\/strong>, historically been the most used solution. In this way, air is promoted in the different seasons of the year and animals are protected from the radiant heat coming from the roof in summer.<\/p>\n<h3>Ventilation<\/h3>\n<p>The ventilation of a stable must be designed and calculated. produced with Edificius<\/p><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"common-design-elements\"><strong>Common design elements<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Apart from the typology, in the project of a stable for dairy cattle there are several common design aspects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>minim height<\/strong>: depends on the equipment that must be used within the spaces; The flooring can be grilled, in cement or in beaten earth.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Rest area<\/strong>:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>with bunks<\/strong>, approximately 3.00 to 4.50 m\u00b2 \/ head<\/li>\n<li><strong>with permanent litter<\/strong>, about 6-8 m\u00b2 \/ head<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The resting area must be constructed in such a way as to guarantee maximum comfort to the animals.<\/p>\n<p>The sleeping area with bunks guarantees the highest level of well-being, economy and hygiene: it reduces the cost of the litter, ensures greater cleanliness and avoids the trampling of the udder.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Sleeping area with bunks, dimensions<\/strong>:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>length<\/strong> (variabile per razza allevata) 2.40 \u2013 2.50 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>width<\/strong> 1.15 \u2013 1.20 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>anti-advance bar <\/strong>\u00a00.60 \u2013 0.70 from the wall<\/li>\n<li><strong>floor slope <\/strong>\u00a01 \u2013 1.5 % towards the service lane<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The bunks can be distributed in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>two tiers of bunks separated from the exercise lane (&#8216;rump&#8217; animals\u2019)<\/li>\n<li>two orders of opposite bunks (animals &#8216;head to head&#8217;\u2019)<\/li>\n<li>three orders of bunks, two on opposites sides and one with a single order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The permanent litter resting area is the more elastic solution than the couchette solution.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Exercise area<\/strong>:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>in concrete<\/strong>, 3-6 m\u00b2\/head<\/li>\n<li><strong>in beaten earth, straw, other <\/strong>, &gt; 10 m\u00b2\/head (recommended 15-20 m\u00b2 \/ head)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The exercise area is represented by external enclosures and is the area where the cow can move freely and dedicate herself to rumination.<\/p>\n<p>The available surface varies depending on the type of flooring: the tendency is to create an area paved with concrete near the stable and an area in the outer ground: the first would be used in the winter period, the second in the summer.<\/p>\n<p>The barn is completed with the<strong> milking area<\/strong>. Towards the inside the feeding area has been provided; as in the previous area, also in this the flooring was designed in concrete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The exercise area <\/strong>was covered with straw as the adjacent area intended<strong> for rest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The central part is a lane that allows cattle to leave the structure to reach the external areas; on the right side there are also areas intended for animals that are no longer productive: dry boxes, steaming up boxes, delivery boxes and infirmary boxes.<\/p>\n<p>At the head of the building we position the area used for milking (with relative waiting area), the <strong>staff area <\/strong>(with bathrooms, changing rooms and showers) and the <strong>warehouse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This project of a stable is completed with those we have defined <strong>common elements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the <strong>compost heap and the slurry tank <\/strong>were designed in the northern area, opposite to the milking;<\/li>\n<li>in the east area the <strong>machinery deposit <\/strong>and the <strong>silo <\/strong>have been placed;<\/li>\n<li>in the west area <strong>barn and haystack<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"photovoltaic-calculation\"><strong>Photovoltaic calculation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><a name=\"architecture\"><\/a><br \/>\nThe project has a plant of around 140 KW of power, composed of 432 modules and 2 inverters. The panels are positioned on both sides of the stable roof with east-west orientation.
