  • Columns Legend
  • Columns Legend (edl)

In practice, you have a large number of tables and legends examples that you can obtain automatically and that you can use to enrich your project drawings with information.

Tables and schedules are very useful because they give you a summary and organization of the different types of model objects. For example, the windows schedule shows the following columns in tabular form:

  • Preview – schematic perspective view of each type of window inserted in the project
  • Dimensions – width x height of windows expressed in metres
  • Quantity – number of objects identified according to the grouping criterion
  • Identifier – corresponds to the “Group” and “Type” fields in the object CLASSIFICATION.

The real advantage is that tables are dynamically linked to the BIM model and update automatically with every change you make to the project. So, if you change the size or number of fixtures, for example, you do not need to update the table you have already created.
